Meet Our Founder: Dallis Stewart
Hailing from the sun-kissed shores of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dallis Stewart grew up in the warmth of a large, close-knit family. It was here, amidst the vibrant Caribbean culture, that Dallis first recognized the challenges that many families face. From a young age, she observed countless families grappling with the daily struggle to make ends meet.
These early observations kindled a passion within her, and by the age of 15, Dallis was already deeply committed to aiding those in need. Dallis' journey of care and compassion found its way to Canada and into her professional life as well. For over 18 years, she has been a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), with a significant portion of her career focusing on caring for the elderly in and around Ontario.
Beyond nursing, Dallis also embraced the role of an early childhood educator, bringing warmth, guidance, and education to children of all ages. Her dedication to the community extends far beyond her professional engagements. Dallis has been an active presence in the GTA, volunteering her time and energy at various food banks and events that serve the underprivileged.
Her belief is simple: the act of giving is a profound source of joy. For Dallis, nothing compares to the happiness she feels when her acts of kindness bring a smile to someone's face. At the heart of Baca Sa(e)gunda All-Embracing (YIC - Why I Care), Dallis Stewart's diverse experiences and unwavering commitment ensures that the mission of the organization is not just about giving aid but understanding and uplifting every individual we serve.
